Wireless odometer & Speedometer on bobber HELP!

I was wondering if anyone has any insight on a wireless spedo, like they use on pedal bikes. Is it possible to use one on my motorcycle???? Any info, or experience would be of great help.

Thanks R~P

Has anyone used a Sat Nav for a speedo. They display your speed probably more accurately than a standard speedo. Could use one of the smaller units, and make a mount for it. It won't record your miles traveled though.

You can get (expensive) wireless speedos for bikes from the usual suppliers - of which I have no experience. I did however run a wireless bicycle speedo at one stage. Even though I put considerable effort into setting this up, in terms of bracketry, etc, it was totally inaccurate. That said, I think if I had bought a slightly more expensive unit - say 50 euro / dollars - it may well have worked. I'd say go for it, but don't but some cheap piece of crap and make sure you set up your sensor positions absolutely bang on.
