My new action/adventure novel was just released as a trade paperback, 5" x 8", 593 pages about Eric "Hammer" Thorssen, an officer of an outlaw motocycle club in the Tidewater area of Virginia. It's 1990; no cellphones, no internet, no GPS.
Hammer takes on his club over his growing unease about their meth labs and whoring out of little girls. Things go from wild to wilder, across four states, culminating in full-on war in Huntsville, Alabama.
He's running from the club, the cops, and the feds. As he and his old Navy buddy are planning their next move, they meet some strong women and their family who feel the same way about Hammer's foes. Twists and turns abound, including an ending that will leave you wanting more.
This is my first published work, and I'm proud of it. I feel it should appeal to bikers, hotrodders, and anyone who like a fast-paced action driven story. No discussions of furniture styles or couture here...just lots of action andsome dark humor thrown in. You can check out more or order the book at http://larryanimalgarner.com
I am currently selling the last few copies of the initial 200 copy limited-edtion signed and numberedprinting. When they're gone, we'll start selling the second printing, without the limited-edition branding, but with some added content.
I'm a novice at this, and have no illusions of grandeur, but would welcome any input from people with connections in the film industry. I really feel this would make a kick-ass movie, and have heard that from everyone who has read the book. As I said, I don't expect great things, but am not counting them out, either. So I's appreciate restraint from flamers and those who love to send hate mail. You may not feel like I have any chance of anyone caring about this, but please keep it to yourself. I'd hate to have to find you. (That's a joke, son)
