Building a Motor with Earl

If you don't know Earl, you will soon. Earl was not only one of the main fabricators on my movie bike, "The Harbortown Bobber," he's also a great friend. For me, the words "fifties" and "sixties" is an idea, for earl it's a time and place. Not only is he filled with knowledge, he's a great story teller. I can sit there and listen to his stories for hours about him growing up in a time he recalls as, "You can just get away with everything…it was just a better time." Yesterday morning at the crack of dawn, and after picking up some hot Joe, I headed to San Pedro to help Earl on one of his builds.
