Value depends on what else is available and what kind of shape it's in. Also depends on how bad you want it. An 883 should be less than a 1200 obviously. - I have a 01 1200. The engine is rigid mounted to the frame. At 60mph (90kph) it runs smooth, any faster and it vibrates alot, but I'm used to it. I cruise at around 75mph or so. I also have taken the rubber isolators for the risers out. My friend has a 06 883, which has rubber isolators between the engine and the frame (starting in 04). His runs smooth at almost all speeds. They went fuel injected in 07, haven't rode one, but it's more likely to be smoother.
