Hi Fred Canada was great when i visited with the army ! medicine hat and later R&R in Calgary actually pulled a bird as well ,wish i could have stayed love the country side .
Very common to run truck tires back then, that what was on my 42 whn I bought it, 2 16 inch truck tires! Althought that one is an 18, so is probbaly actually a motorcycle tire..

Other than having a hole drilled in teh front leg, that is a hell of a survivor, very restorable, BUT it is an RL...not VL, (45 stem, it is hooked up to a later 45 frame front section with fork lock) BUT, im my eyes, that makes it more useable, I had to build a stem for my VL to make it fit!
