Jammin around the IE...

Was invited to ride with a Temecula chapter of a club, and went to two different public parties last sunday. Rode on my small seat, and my ass was hurting! Plus, those dude's ride new H-D's, and my ironhead aint geared like theirs is. So, they slowed somewhat for me. Thanks. Heard strange noises on the last stretch of freeway, now I gotta adjust my chain again. Ended up putting on a Cycle Electric's regulator on the end of my generator. If you are having electrical problems, get one. Now my…See More

Street Chopper Magazine's 40th party

We rode out yesterday afternoon to the 40th party, and the bike ran pretty good the whole day. It was in Garden Grove at Henry's, a nice place, but kinda small. But that's okay, the beer was cheap, and the food was really, really good. And the best part was the pretty girls that were there! I met one of the owners and she was really nice and concerned that the customers, us, were taken care of. There was lot's of bitchin' bikes to see, I wish I could have stayed longer. I should have, I had to…See More

Street Chopper 40th party

Early in the day. My brother-in-law Steve's nice Road King in the background. It was fun!

Biltwell bash was great!

Yeah, there was still a ton of room, so I hope that we get this again later, and even stay without freezing or breaking my tent poles! Hella Fun!

Took the heads off, diggin' it!

Posted on May 17, 2009 at 3:36am 0 Comments

I took both heads off early last week and cleaned them up. Put new copper gaskets from 'The Chopper Place' in Riverside- 5 bucks each not bad. Tourqed them down and broke cheap ass 9/16 socket. Don't buy cheap tools. I buy craftsman, at least I can replace them. So I had adjusted the heads so the S&S intake manifold was square, and now she runs so much better, and HAULS ASS!!! I love it when my bike runs right. Life is good.

Thanks Mate! I have got to do a lot of things still on my bike.
I have just started to gather a few custom parts from here and there.
Once my parts hunting is over, it will go in for a bit of a transformation.
I rather customize it in one hit, rather than put it together bit by bit.
The breed of the AMF XLCH's are slowly becoming more and more extincted. It's guys like us that really appreciate these legendary bikes that will keep them still alive for many years to conquer ahead!!

Go to my page and click on my friend Serg and check out his custom 74 XLH Iron Head and tell me what you think?

Yeah it would be my first Ironhead project. I've owned an evo 1200 and loved the thing everyone puts down the sporty but I think they are one of the best things Harley still has going. Fast little fuckers just as they were built to be.
