Dumptruck said… - I haven't shortened the forks yet. All I did was cut four inches off of the springs. However, I think that because I didn't cut the forks down and the bottoming out of the forks is what caused my upper steering clamp to crack.

- Well, I finished the tank (it's 2 different tanks) but I want to lower the front shocks get rid of the tail piece and rear fender, glass up a low profile seat (see brat style) a BSA d-section rear fender and 1940 Ford tail light with N.O.S bezel and a bunch more schtuff but first things first. I just moved to Van. and know no one here so I need to find a garage to rent and get my tools out of storage. Ironically enough it's my BSA that's running and not the Kaw hmmmm. I'll try to find the pics of the work done to the tank so I can better illustrate what's been done. How 'bout your ride, am I to understand you're gonna hardtail it?
