Signed up here to get to know some new people, so feel free to message me... Looking for folks with something to say, a brain between their ears, and an open mind. I ride a Shovel and love it! Really into the older bikes just cause they have so much class!
I live in SE Illinois for now but am moving to NW Arkansas in 2011. I have had an antiques shop here for fifteen years and will be moving it to Eureka Springs. Ever been there? It is motorcycle heaven!

I learned to ride dirt and mini bikes as a kid. My dad was a inventive genius and was always building go-karts, motorbikes and such. He made us half a dozen go-karts, a home built three wheeler before Honda ever conceived the idea, a car made out of a Cougar, a VW and a Mustang (the Coomustwagon), and numerous hot rod lawn mowers, etc. I have run with "bikers" since I was a teen, but never felt the "need" to own my own bike. I really like oldschool-Harleys a lot better than modern Harleys. After owning a pain-in-the-ass late Shovel Electra-Glide with nothing but trouble (fully customised by the way) I chose to buy a more reliable EVO, carburated, not with injection! I will never buy a fuel- injected Harley, like a Twin-cam. Just too modern and "unreal" for me. Well, I guess you know what I mean... Not computorised, just mechanical, simple, raw metal!

- Spontaneous sex-changes do occur once and a while, haha! Finding parts in Holland and surrounding countries actually is not that hard. After WWII a lot of WL's and spare-parts stayed over here. Flathead-parts and (early) Shovelhead-parts are available. Knuckles and Vl's and so forth are harder to find, but I think even in the States they are becoming rare, or am I wrong?
