Rapid Run to Kern River! at Santa Monica to Kern River

This is a FREE event! If we wind up with a chase truck, it would be cool if everyone put a few bucks in for gas, but other than that there is nothing to pay for. Camping is free! Were taking off from Santa Monica at the corner of Pico and Bundy at 9 AM Friday the 9th of Sept, 2011. Riding up the coast to Oxnard, and then going up the 33 threw some twisties. INFIDEL LIVES ! ! !, Got busy with the air brush yesterday. It was problematic because tape would not stick to the nylon tank. I tried a lot of different things, bottom line....I wound up freehanding some art on top of my vinyl lettering and then pulling it off like a stencil. I've only done one side thus far because I'm not so sure this is going to stick. It took a lot of clear and seemed to be soaking it up, I'll be going today to try and color sand… Continue

Yes I remember you from the ricechopper list, been following your progress for a while. You are putting together some good rides. Good job. I got some projects on the go, mostly racing. Building a CB750 hillclimber with a blower, artic cat fuel injection and a mega squirt cumputer in a CR250 frame. My son is racing a CBR1100 blackbird in the drags and I just finished a VTR1000 streetfighter. 64 Rambler and 53 Chev with a 472 Caddy motor a couple of car projects lately. No rest here :-) I'll get pics up soon.
