check your clutch centre hasnt come apart .the cush drive plate screws can come out,they did on my beeza ,just got home with a slipping clutch.i ended up putting m6 counter sunk bolts right through .still holding eight years latter no prob.maybe…

the cable only has slack in it cause i undone the cable from the lever thinking that may have been the cause of the clutch being engaged. if hooked back up the cable doesnt have slack.

You may have to make a bushing to take up the slack. Have you re adjusted the clutch? How much slack is in the cable?
