I started a rebuild of my bike in the past week or so. I'm gonna make it a true cafe racer. So far I have pulled the motor and began a slight top end rebuild. After a good cleaning and de-greasing of the engine I pulled the head off and am puttin in some fresh rings and a new cam chain. I bead blasted all the ol shit from the top of the pistons.
I have the frame stripped down bare now and I have re soldered pretty well all the connections and whatnot as they were a real mess, lots of wire twisting and electrical tape from over the years of many past owners haha
my next step is to build a cafe style seat/cowl out of fiberglass. This should be interesting as I have never done anything like this before...if anyone has any good tips of any good links that would be awesome!
Gonna get the tank and cowl "professionally" painted this time haha...if anyone has any ideas or anything I would love to hear em!

cheers
