Gr8, I only have time to post cause my job requires me to sit in front of a computer for hours at a time (and Nebraska weather usualy sucks). So in order to remain semi-sane I cruise cyber space, trying to learn as much as I can.

Burn, it's your bike I want to be friends with not you!

Have a great weekend fella's. Weather looks like it's gonna break, if so I'm cruisin back country highways and BBQ'n some cornfed NE beef!

Hey welcome over here too. People get gung ho with what ever new group pops up. It is hard to stay active with all the different groups and still have a life off line. I got most of my stuff on auto and just get a message when a new post comes in.It is only when I am not working on a project or riding that I have the time to spend on the boards. You sir have been new blood and I am glad you find the time to post.

Dumptruck - you say it's getting fuel now? I was thinking fuel filter. Messed me up for a while on my Guzzi. fuel lines are all full, but when you roll the throttle, the fuel after the filter flows to the carb, but the flow through the filter is too slow to keep up and the engine dies or, more usually, bogs down. I didn't even think they were clogged until I took them off and I could see it. Replaced the filters and it was cool. If you aren't watching the lines, you might not even see the gap in the fuel as it can back fill pretty quick.

Esp if you had a clog in the pets, makes me think it might have carried down. Or less likely, partial clog in the fuel line at the carb that is just slowing things down.

could be leaning out(not to likely) or rich as
hell. when you slowly roll on the throttle does
it rev smoothly? then bogs when you snap the
throttle? CV carbs or slide style? if it idles fine
and its a "just out of the blue the bike was running
fine yesterday and the weather is the same"
check your condensers. if you have them. i chased
what i thought was a bad carb and had shit condenser
