Proud to be in the USA

The latest: When I was growing up,I was proud of living in the USA. The government was running the government.Action was taken against people that did wrong. People worked hard and agreements were made on hand shakes not paper. My grandfather fought in WWI, My father fought in WWII and was a P.O.W. in a nazi camp. Today living in the USA is heartbreaking: The GOVERNMENT can't run itself and is trying to run everybody's business. You have them bailing out auto makers, banks and getting into running sports. Today society puts sports figures on a pedsetal, they have lied to a senate hearing, killed someone while dui,and the latest is Penn State. A coach molesting young boys for years and nobody did anything about it. The head coach as well as others are just as guilty as the one that did the molesting. They need to convict all of them involve and send them to prison for life. But Knowing the courts, they would put them under house arrest for 30 days. This story out of Penn State is shocking as well as the government of handling of athletes. Thats why I am pround to be a biker.

Hey Mark, I hear ya' man. Doin' the right thing don't seem to mean much anymore. Most of the ' citizens ' are spineless sheep that go whichever way the wind blows. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm happy to see this occupy movement gettin' bigger every day, that tells me that at least a few people care. We need to go back to followin' the Constitution the way it was written, not the way it's applied now by power-hungry Presidents and Supreme Court Justices who make political decisions by twisting the true meaning of the Constitution! And we need to get rid of about half the government agencies that do nothin' but tax us so they can get paid. I ain't gonna' say no more, I could bitch about this all night long.....Whack.

THATS why I am Proud to be a BIKER. Follow no one. Go with the wind and deal with whatever comes up. I am glad people are standing up to the GOVERNMENT. I just hope it's not to late

Mark, this time last year I thought it was too late too and even got into arguments with a few friends about it. But I've gone to a few of the " Occupy " protests and I now believe democracy is alive and well within the 20-30 year old group and actually all the way up to some in their 70s. I had no idea there were so many people out there who want to see a return to traditional values. And I ain't talkin' about the nutcases that want the U.S. to run the whole world, I'm talkin' about people who wanna' see us mind our own business and take care of AMERICANS 1st! It's inspiring to me to see people stand up for what they believe in, even if I don't agree with 'em 100% at least they're standin' up for SOMETHIN'. " I'M PROUD TO BE A BIKER " too, I do my own thing and let other people do theirs. As long as they don't hurt me or mine I'm good with that. We been sendin' our tax dollars all over the world for as long as I can remember, SCREW THAT, it's time to take care of ourselves 1st, then if we got any left over to help others, cool. As always, these are just my opinions.....Whack.

Yea, take care of your backyard first and then start on someone elses. AS AMERICANS we have this american dream-good job-house-car-family. BUT they screwed that up too. People want to keep up with the JONES and are not satisflied with what they have. That's why I screw society. I stand on my own two feet, like all bikers do. My wife says I DON'T PLAY WELL WITH OTHERS. You know what, she is right.

Yea your right. They are looking out for themselves and nobody else. I am glad that people are having tea parties across the nation. The gov has been targeting bikers for a long time, because we would stand up to them for what they were doing wrong and now we see that the people are opening their eyes, seeing the gov for what they are. I hope its not to late.

To level the negative side of our country we as citizens of USA need to retrieve our nation from domestic control from a faction we had created. No more getting complacent, for it makes us fat and lazy, in which we are vulnerable for being control and lose our freedom. As a Vet, I fought for our freedom and our beliefs of Christianity also the Constitution that our flag stands for. Bikers, as we are proud to be, is one of the few minority section of population here that is quite fed up with the corruption and farming out our jobs to foreign countries. Bottom line is we let it happen and we have to place the proper people in the government with term positions that receives its benefits that is structure the same as those in jobs that receive retirements with proper years in and have the same medical service. We must strengthen our currency and properly service all delinquent accounts from other countries and pay or accounts which we have or had burrow. We must learn again to stand up for ourselves as one nation under God, with Liberty and justice for all!

YEAH, the problem is GOD is out of the picture right now. This country has a leader that doesn't believe in GOD and you can see what is happening. I pray that this country can hang on until it gets a leader that believes in GOD.

Maybe then we can put GOD back in schools, workplaces and other areas.
