Interdiction to the forum

Hi my name is Karl I am new to the online but not new to motorcycling, my current sled is a 2005 springer which was a welcome home present from the Frau after a OIF run. I am looking for any help with 88 TC Fly wheel slip! The engine is tore down currently and am at the point of plugging and welding the stock fly wheel. I have had other gear heads suggest to buy a fly wheel from S&S. Any advise at this point is welcome.
