right guys a challenge , i have just started work on a bmw r 80 chopper the bike is standard or should i say was until i started stripping it . my problem is the rear wheel , at the moment its running a 120 back tyre i want to run a 160 but with it been a shaft there is very little room and will not get a 130 in never mind a 160 . if i use the standard hub and move the swing arm over 20 mil would i be able to have the rear wheel re laced and rimmed with a 20 to 25 mil offset to keep the wheel on centre or does anyone else have any sugestions , oh and does anyone have a name and or number for a company that re rims and re laces wheels in the uk . cheers guys . .

shit thats this weekend forgot all about it got my xs clutch in bits at the mo if i get it back together i might go as for the bmw you can get a 160 tyre on if you have the wheel re rimed spoked and offset by 18 mil away from the drive but you need to put the wheel in without infalating the tyre or it wont go past the drive . hope you had a good one , cheers jez
