Custom motorcycles, hot rods, skate, art, music, movies, whatever...

G'day, Just wondering if anyone has a clue on roughly how far the attachment point for the linkage rod should be from the pivot point on the foot clutch lever should be cause at the moment the clutch is either on or off, it just wants to wheelspin or stand, any pics would help.

Thanks, David.

Depends on what you are using...I am guessing a 4 speed. Are you using a stock clutch release arm? Usually, I make mine about 4 inches long at the pedal, however, my clutch release arm is also 11.25 inches long. It comes down to leverage ratios. Mine is about 2.8 :1. A ratio of 2.5:1 to 3.0:1 should get you in the ball park. That usually makes for a nice progressive pedal feel that is easy to ride. Hope that helps.
Thanks for that
