Hey ya'll - name's Will, but they call me Hillbillywill.
I'm originally from the NE coast of Scotland, left there a good while ago now, tend to hop every 4 years or so due to the nature of work/life/family etc. Been into bikes from a very tender age, been on the road now for 23 years and I'm pretty much into anything that has wheels and an engine. My car fetish took off later in life (well, later than the bikes) and I've got a small collection back in Scotland. I've recently moved to Brunei and have met some pretty cool guys here, no old tin though - which is pretty shit, but I'm gonna work on that one.
Peace & Grease.
Del (Midnight) here, born in '46, livin' in Kansas for now, background is in art, loved my old BSA/Triumph singles (also Ducati singles), so now I'm working on a '74 Honda 350 single I picked up cheap. Stripping it.... likely will hardtail it eventually to lower it. Gets a fresh big bore motor soon, (probably 390), lookin' for an old British tank. Wanting the 40's/early '50's look, but a mix. Just added drag bars, lost the battery, am cleaning it up, keeping it spare. Making a seat... That's me for now.
im lee from the uk, been into bikes rods scooters and skateboards longer than i can remember. always had a frustrated builder inside my head but not the means t0 make any of my ideas reality so for now i build them in CG. I do have plans to do a brit twin build with my father in the near future, we're both qualified engineers and bike fanatics but just looking for the right base and some workshop space for now.
Saw the site in BSH a while back and having looked at it i think its awesome.. some amazing bikes being built out there. well thats me so far.. will keep you posted :-)
Hi folks, I'm Gruesome form Dorset, UK. I'm building a T140v hardtail chop in my small workshop. I have limited equipment but plenty of ways to improvise - it may take longer but so what? It's all taken a long time to get to this stage but I bought the project around 3 years ago, rebuilt the mill and rode her for a couple of months. The rest was very old school and just botched together - no real thought or care - so now's the time to do it right. Love this website, it's a great place to swap ideas etc and keep in touch.
Hello......im Headcase. im new. ive set up a group. feel free to goin. i also posted on the into page.
Hey; I am known as Smiley, not a nick name, my real name is H.David Smiley. I get H.D. as well. I am a second generation biker, and have been on two wheels over 40 of my 48 years. I eat drink and sleep motercycles. My obsession has outlasted two wives, who though it was a hobby.
My dad is still riding, and put 10K 0n his Liberty edition Lowrider, last season. He is on his 5th hip joint, therefore accounting for the color matched, Voyager kit I mounted, 5 years ago.
I currently have , minis, KDX200, KLX450, 04 Bagger, my girlfriends 97 1200 Sporty, with raked ttrees, 6 over tubes and 16" wheel. Stretched tank, and yellow paint coming.
My boy and I built his 650XS, swedish style. see the pics of RJ's ride. He is enlisted, and back this Christmas to finish it.
My next project, which I will document, on this forum, is my, Backstreet Chopper, Stampede bike. Ont. to NM to NC, and back. Time line is to debut at my Porker Run, the first weekend of June.
84 Sporty chassis with weld on hardtail. 88 Evo sporty, 86 dualdisc decker frontend, 160 rear, 130 front. 2/1 header and Weisco 1200 kit. Tractor sprung seat, as I am old and fat!
Mono chromatic paint and should be built and on the road for about 3K Canadian.
I have built about a dozen riden custom bikes. I run a small bike shop catering to people who ride. I don't sell anything I wouldn't use. If you require a trailer, I am not interested. My bikes have travelled across Canada, with minimal issues. I understand when it is good enough, and don't trick my rides to the point of not being user friendly. I weld, machine and LOVE metal work. I have been painting for 30 years, thereforre allowing me to do a bike, start to finish.
I look forward to lurking around this site, a am looking forward to possibly meeting some serious, back yard builder/ riders.
Keep it real!
H. D. Smiley
I just joined this site myself, good luck with your build for The Horsey Ride, some people don't understand why I or you would ride a hardtail for hundreds or thousands of miles, they just don't understand do they?
No - They don't
Howdy...I'm Gypsy...also known as Skyrider on many sights like Ebay, or my chat board, Ned the toothpick.com's biker bar alley!

I ride knuckleheads, (3 of them) but love all bikes and have built and rode most every brand imaginable (I cut my teeth at a Norton/Triumph/Guzzi /Vincent dealership) even worked at a Honda dealership for 2 years!

I'm a firm believer in "Build It"., not buy it!
