I bought 5 hacksaw blades, sawed the bike in half behind the steering neck and sawed the swingarm in half. I rented a lincoln wire welder, put the bike on a 4x4 under the headers and welded the front on with about a 30 degree rake. I cut the drive shaft in half and welded a sleeve over it making it 6 inches longer. I welded a class a dom water pipe onto the left side of the swingarm over the driveshaft and 1/4 x 6 inch dom pieces to the right side of the swingarm . I used a 3 foot carpenters level to true up the rear wheel and went to town welding. So far its all held together. The 4 foot exhaust pipe is electrical conduit with out baffles. Rattlecan paint of course

All right, this is my '72 shovel. Ripped the engine and the rearwheel from my super-glide and started building.....something. Frame origin is unknown, fork is an Hydra with drum, seat is guiliera, paint is done by me to, but best of all; it go's like hell! All parts where bought from friends or from people that became friends. There are so many storys to tell about them and the parts it makes this bike damn special to me.

Cheers and keep up the good works, Sik from Holland

Hey Dom,
Nearly didn't recognise your bike without the trademark helmet and gloves! ;) Good to see it entered here, and best of luck.

I was going for Indian Larry style except to fit my 6"3" body without looking out of proportion. Was looking for a dependable ride for long trips. I went with a new 80" EVO crate motor from H-D, Jims performance 5 speed transmission and a Dry belt BDL primary to loose the weight. Had Fab Kevin do up some brakes and used his tag mount kit. I changed the Paughco Frame neck gusset because it looked like shit so Fab Kevin made me one from a pattern I sent him. Round oil tank 3.5 gt for better cooling. Indian Larry Legacy Tank, West coast fender. Paughco fish tail upsweep pipes. I have it painted with rattle can Rust-Oleum Brown because I couldn't deside on a paint color. Turns out I like it better that way. I made the seat and pan to be functional for trips without getting monkey butt, Didn't work!! but it's still feels better than most. That's it..........Vote for me damit
We need to start a fishtail club! JQ
