Choppertown Nation - Online Community for Backyard Builders

Custom motorcycles, hot rods, skate, art, music, movies, whatever...

Post only two (2) pics and some info about your build. Good luck.

*(The best way is to post your pics using the little camera button above. Try to keep the pics 500 pixels wide so everyone can see
them easily.  If pics are too huge they may be deleted!)*

My Triumph swing-arm chopper. '66 TR6r drivetrain in a 1970 Bonneville chassis. forks shortened 2" by "forkin' by frank", rear end dropped 3+". 16" HD wheel laced to triumph hub out back, 21" frontwheel laced to '68 cl350 hub up front. all bodywork and paint by harl of 'damned to be free', motor work by a neighbor. harl also decked the wassel fender and built a batterybox from scratch, alonog with cleaning up the frame.
Hello everybody, This is my Yamaha based chop. I have build it from scratch back in 1990 and it has undergone many transformations over the past years. The last transformation I finished last year incl a rebuild of the engine after roughly doing 120.000 km, mostly through holiday trips and weekend rallys.
Really pleased to see that the bike is performing as well as it ever did. Took it through the south of France this year.

Here is my 1983 "Cop Chop". It's a KZ1000P (Police Edition) put on a rigid frame. I built this in my garage throughout last winter while teaching myself how to weld (many screw ups and burn scars ha ha ha). It's a great ride and a whole lot of fun. Most fun I've had in the 35 years I've been riding. Enjoy!

OK - not sure if this is a chopper or a Bobber - but what the hell!
This is my Hamlet Tracker I built in late 2009 - based upon a HD Streetbob engine and parts - but with new bespoke frame and tins with 23" wheels front and back. Done a good few thousand miles on this and it rides superbly
My Pan/Shovel. Built in my buddy Deans garage in 06. Sold soon after to pay the bills. It took me 3 yrs to track the bike down again and after selling my last build I got a chance to buy it. Unfortunately the prior owner had no idea how to care and feed for an old bike. I had to go through the motor, clutch and primary completely to shore up leaks and repl worn parts. Luckily the rare as hens teeth L carb was fine since there are almost no repl parts available for it. Tank swaps, bar swaps and a handful of other little changes and the bike has finally become "mine". Had the honor of taking home the "Best Chopper" award at this years Born Free 2 show. Foot clutch, jockey shift, no front brake, kick only and I couldn't imagine it any other way. Pics are by my wife at an old mining town outside Vegas
