Choppertown Nation - Online Community for Backyard Builders

Custom motorcycles, hot rods, skate, art, music, movies, whatever...

It wasn't easy. Bones were broken and curses were spat, but the judges finally picked the winners of the first Choppertown Nation online bike show. Chris from Biltwell summed things up pretty well, "Shit this was tough...a lot of crazy bikes." Carpy added, "Too many cool rides to choose from!"

This was an awesome first time and for the next one we're going to add some more categories to give everyone a chance to show off their work.

Thanks to the judges and sponsors for their contributions!
Prizes will be awarded to the top 5 in each category:
1st place gets a Biltwell lid, set of Dickies workshirt and pants, Lick's Jellies, and Choppertown DVD set!
2nd place gets Dickies workshirt, Lick's Jellies, and Choppertown DVD set!
3rd place gets Dickies workshirt and Choppertown DVD set!
4th and 5th place gets a Choppertown DVD set!
Honorable Mention receives a Guilty Custom's seat pan and shock!

The judges were:
Kutty (Hippy Killer)

Irish Rich (Shamrock Fabrication)

Duane (Duane Ballard Custom Leather)

Carpy (CB750 Cafe)

Fab Kevin (Fabricator Kevin's)

Carl (Guilty Customs)

Chris (Biltwell)

Wes (Four Aces)

Big Truth (Choppahead)

Sean (XsSpeed Choppers)

Rich (Rich Phillips Cycles and Leathers)

Meatball (Hell On Wheels)

We used a point system for all bikes getting votes and came up with the winners. Some builders, Leila and Tritonman actually tied for first with BOTH of their entries so we put them together to make more room for other winners. Check out all the bikes here.

congratulation for all winners. Dom (Chopper's Syndicate Belgium)
Congratulations to everyone - not just the deserved winners, but to everyone. There's some cracking bikes out there and it gives me real hope for the continued future of custom bike building. I'm lucky enough to have been a judge at countless shows, from the World Championship of Custom Bike Building downwards, and I can tell you, this is one show I would NOT have wanted to judge! You'd all have been waiting months while I muttered 'But I like that one ... and that one ... and that one...' :)
I also agree with that : lots of nice bikes, that was a cool virtual "bike show" !
DHC (Paris, France)
great contest guys awesome

great jury too !!

The judges had difficult choices to do but they did a very good job and as wrote Blue: "I wouldn't have been in their shoes!"
Congrtulations to all winners and thanks to all the guys who posted pics of their bike in order to make us drem or/and give us new ideas.
I hope the next one will be even better!

I have to say that the judges were DEAD NUTS right. If Sik's chop didn't win, I was going to buy a Honda Goldwing. I thought my chop was cool, and it is, but Sik's was beyond the thunderdome of cool! GREAT bikes for everyone I saw. Contests are cool, but just letting everyone see what we got is awesome. CHOP IT!

congrats to ze winners & actually happy to see motorfreakers' work from all around the world !
..If this was an "in the flesh bike show" I'd have the chance to say thank you at some point, So I'll just go ahead and do that now.. Thanks you to the judges, to the sponsors, and to Zach & Scott for giving regular guys like me the opportunity to compete in a world class event with so many talented cats. I'm humbled and flattered that my bike got noticed at all, considering how many top notch bikes were entered.. Also, Thanks to Guilty Customs for the seat pan and shock. -Israel Tesch- Phoenix AZ..
